Where the code comes from
When a seller shoots photos inside VintSnap, the app stamps a small badge and code onto them and registers that code with us — the second the shutter goes.

What it proves
That the photos were captured live in the app on the date shown — not saved from a shop listing, a search result, or someone else's sale. A screenshot of a stranger's photo can't carry a registered code.
What it doesn't prove
It isn't an authenticity check, a condition report, or a promise about the seller. It's one honest signal among many — keep using your own judgement, and keep transactions inside Vinted's protection.
